• Speak your mind but remember you are a "staff" person and most things you do will be emulated so try to play fair while voicing your opinion in community chats and message boards.

• Do not over extend yourself on community matters - we need healthy and not burned out managers and assts. save your "strength" and do not push to hard at times that may result in burnout, we recognize that we all are volunteers and will easily make exceptions for this.

• Only Ban members under extreme circumstances. please use the member rules for a guideline for this, usually members are only ever banned for multiday persistent problems. The occasional outburst shouldn't be dealt with in a banning way.

• Do not promote others to manager or asst without consulting Zen Tiger .

• Do not edit pages within the community unless you are familiar with MSNs process and use the editing guidelines below.

• If while your in AGF message boards and find a message that obviously doesn't belong there do to rule breaking ( please use the member rules and guidelines posted on the message board for this function.) Please feel free to delete the offending message . If appropriate please post the offending message at :AGF MANAGERS so we can keep track if people are realy crossing the line. (if this is a good post with only a word or phrase that is offensive you can also copy and paste the post back into the thread and make a "edit" to it - just delete the offending message afterwards!)

• If you are a manager of AGF2 -Whenever at AGF2 try to look at the member list and accept any members that wish to join that are there.

• We have monthly meetings on the first monday of each month. The "minutes" for these meetings are housed at :AGF MANAGERS

ADDING TO THE LIBRARY

• First and foremost please use the editing guidelines below!

• Please post all texts either on the message board or the library board also/first for further input from others.

• Try to post relative stuff for the community ( we do allow the occasional odd ball text in too, but for a general rule try to keep it spiritually/religious/scientific in nature )

Editing Community Page Guidelines

• Make sure you are familiar with the MSN template process before you attempt to edit.

• If you want a place to try out and play with web pages please feel free to sign up for the community Learn to be a webmaster (many AGF members learn this stuff there.)

• Always open the page you want to edit and then open another window to do the actual editing in (this can be done in several ways, easiest of which is to right click the "edit this page" under each page title on the left and choose "open in a new window" this will open the editing process in a clean window)

• WHY OPEN TWO WINDOWS TO EDIT? this is for several reasons:
• Most importantly .. in case you or MSN mess's up.. MSN is notorious for saving things wrong or deleting the page during the process. this allows you to copy the original page ( which will never be shown again after you normally edit without having the extra window previously open) back into the editing process and start over .

•  We have a lot of links and info that can not be easily replaced so please use this safe guard procedure when editing.

Try to keep the web pages in a uniform feel and look when editing:

• By this we mean the quick links at the top and bottom of each page should always be included. (there are special Quick Link pages on both the home community and also the Library)

• Try always to stay with the "flow" of the page, some links may only be appropriate for certain pages. ALSO some links should be on many different pages if it over laps "topics". (example : a link on darwin might be appropriate on all these pages - Evolution, Atheism, creationism )
