Please take some time to review the rules and expectations of all members at the AGF forum. GENERAL GUIDELINES - Mission Statement: When posting, please keep our Mission Statement in mind at all times.
- English: Please utilize the english language in all of your posts at this board.
- Thread Categories: Place all new threads in the appopriate category. For example, Tech-Help questions should be posted in the Tech-Help category. Any thread you intend to create and are uncertain of the appropriate category, or for which no category seems most applicable, should be created in the General category. Threads made in the wrong category may be moved or deleted at the discretion of the managers.
- Respect Fellow Members: Please give respect to the other members of the forum, no matter what your differences of opinion, including religious and political beliefs. While the managers understand that some debates may become heated, we ask that you always make your best attempt to respect the person even if you don't respect the argument they make.
- Bumping Posts: Please do not bump a post unless, A) It has fallen from the front page of the message board and you feel it is appropriate to do so, or B) At least 24 hours have passed since the last reply to the topic in question.
- Hateful or Threatning Posts: At no time whatsoever is a member allowed to express hateful, threatening or otherwise violent messages. This includes messages about members and non-members. Engaging in violent or racist posts at AGF can and will result in having your membership revoked at the discretion of the management.
- Inappropriate Content: The AGF message board is a general message board, meaning that people of all ages can and do visit from time to time. Obscene, inappropriate or otherwise adult-oriented content should not be posted directly into threads on the message board. Any threads that link to adult or inappropriate conduct should list a "Rating" in the thread title, to indicate the degree to which you feel the content may be inappropriate for younger visitors. The managers may remove or otherwise alter any post they feel is inappropriate or contains content that is either against the MSN Groups guidelines, or their own discretion related to members and visitors of the AGF forum itself. This includes posts using foul or strong language.
- Warnings and Revocations: The managers may warn a member about inappropriate activities they are engaging in, remove posts or even revoke their membership to the forum at their discretion. While a manager will typically try to provide a warning, some occasions will merit an immediate post deletion or membership revocation without notice. Naturally, the management would like to avoid having to make such a decision that would result in a post deletion or membership revocation, and will use their best available discretion in determining how to proceed. If you disagree with the actions or decisions of a manager, you should contact one or more of the managers directly rather than use the forum as a sounding board for your disagreement.
